What we need now more than ever before in my lifetime, is someone who has a high IQ, and knows how to use it; who believes in science and facts and will sell it truthfully to the American people and someone who is willing to fight for what is right for America and not just their backers or party. Mr. Gore was not that man before, but he has gone through the fire and come out on the other side with the qualities to be a great leader. To do the tough job, to fix all the problems and disasters that Mr. Bush and his Cabal have left America and the world with. I don't see anyone else, from any party who has the will, the brains and the experience to do it.
Mr. Gore, you must promise me and all the other thinking people in this country, that you will fight for us. That you will not say and do what is expedient, but that you will take a stand and fight for what is right. Remember, not only the Democratic ideals, but America's ideals. We will fight for you as long as you do not back down. That you will show your anger when it is justified. That you will call a lie, a lie. And the person or group which states a lie, a liar. I do not want a President who lies, does not stand up for what is right for America and is not a President for ALL Americans.
All our best wishes and hopes for the future, to you Mr. Gore, as you make this decision and even more to the American People, and the world.

No focus groups, no fancy speechwriters, no advisers, no wardrobes...
And I believe that the American people are ready, indeed desperate for the truth, the adult conversation

no air balloons, no kindergarten-parties, no paid cheering and flag-waving, no politic comedy for the foreigners, laughing their asses off about that american game called "democracy show" - great entertainment instead of annoying arguments and reason!!!

I believe I have already posted by bit, "Al Gore will be the Consensus Candidate in 2008" or some variation of it at your site...it is easily "googled".

I will continue to revise and post my letter to Gore, and to comment on why I feel he is the only choice for Democrats in 2008. As often and everywhere I can. Recently I have written letters to MSM reporters who have come out with Gore-buzz articles, many have actually responded, several in fact. Most are amazed at the response to the articles, a WSJ reporter telling me that it got her more email than most front page articles and it appeared deep in the edition.

I have also outlined what I feel will be the course of the most unusual Presidential campaign in living memory. I submit that all of the potential Democratic candidates, including the much relieved HRC, will endorse Mr. Gore and that he will be nominated by acclimation on the first ballot, after being nominated and seconded by each of the Clintons, Mr. Kerry and Mr. Kennedy.

The subsequent campaign will be unique as well. No focus groups, no fancy speechwriters, no advisers, no wardrobes, very little need to move all over the country spewing carbons...but a conversation with the American People, directly with most of them, just like this post...Without the filter of the MSM or reference to the echo chamber. Rapid response, sure, but by surrogates, this is a very high road campaign, one that will be asking Americans real questions, seeking real sacrifice.

And I believe that the American people are ready, indeed desperate for the truth, the adult conversation and honesty so lacking in the Republican leadership and the Administration. The lies and "happy talk" of the last several years have given us a very sensitive "truthiness" antenna... We are ready for healing, ready for change.

With all that said...

We have to live in the "now", not the "then".
The "now" is 2006, which is about the control of Congress and raising awareness of the coming environmental disaster. 2008 is the "then" and the "then" will be the "now" soon enough...

Al Gore is saying live in the "now" and make it count, NOW!
So see the movie...Send money, to Howard, to DCCC...
Register and vote...Send money, to your Congressperson, to BuzzFlash!

And we will be ready, happy warriors already in the trenches, ready to wage a fight for our Constitution and our Republic, and I believe that Al Gore is ready as well. Ready to lead.

Al Gore will be elected President in 2008
Not because he is running...
But because he is LEADING!

It was not a presidency that was stolen, It was a country.

Several years ago my house was broken into and a lot of valuables were stolen. I called the police and they listened halfheartedly and I carefully gave then stuff that would have had to have fingerprints, which they took with them.

I found the stuff I had given them in the garbage can down stairs, and on checking, they did not even file a report.

That is how the election thefts since y2k have felt. Gore and Kerry each won easily in actual votes, and many other elections went similarly, and were similarly hijacked.

And the evidence is still in the garbage can, albeit poked at by a few, but the gutrench is the same.
