					<description>I think the October surprise was supposed to be an air attack on Iran. North Korea had their own surprise ready. Then,the fact that Americans refused to be sidetracked about Iraq made it even more difficult to start another war right now. However, Larry is correct in saying that the Dems must have a victory in this election. If not, the Bush leaguers will stay on track with their PNAC agenda, and zero in on Iran.</description>

					<description>I agree, but in a way this misses the real point. Shrub and the boys are not going to change their approach to Iraq, no matter what happens next Tuesday. Why it's critical that Dems get control of at least the House is Iran, not Iraq. I remember reading that Shrub said that he was determined to do something &quot;decisive&quot; about Iran before he left office (although I can't find the quote right now - can any of you help me out here?). Assuming Shrub means that, and I believe he does, he MUST be stopped, and only a Dem victory can accomplish that.</description>
