Worth the wait
All week I’ve been waiting to see what Frank Rich would have to say about the Libby quasi-pardon. I wasn’t to be disappointed.

THERE was never any question that President Bush would grant amnesty to Scooter Libby, the man who knows too much about the lies told to sell the war in Iraq. The only questions were when, and how, Mr. Bush would buy Mr. Libby’s silence. Now we have the answers, and they’re at least as incriminating as the act itself. They reveal the continued ferocity of a White House cover-up and expose the true character of a commander in chief whose tough-guy shtick can no longer camouflage his fundamental cowardice.

Bush is a yellow-bellied pusillanimous polecat. His character flaws would fill a book the size of Webster’s Dictionary. Frank Rich has it pegged and then some. “Georgie Porgie, Puddin’ and Pie, Kissed the Girls and Made Them Cry. When the Boys Came Out to Play, Georgie Porgie Ran Away.” Alcoholics who refuse to acknowledge their problem are experts in denial. Bush may have overcome his alcoholism, but he remains a dry drunk. Denial is his best friend.

I think it’s more than denial with georgie. He has a sense of entitlement combined with a callouness that enables him to believe himself superior to all others. What is good for him MUST be good for the world because everything is all about him and his wants and needs. He lives in a fantasy world where he gets what he wants or he changes the rules or he cheats, but he gets what he wants because he’s entitled to it. He is a chip off the barbara bush block, all ego, no empathy…..all self, no serve.

Every picture of bush should show a pet goat tethered to him.
I also loved seeing his name and the word coward used together.
The yellow-bellied pusilanimous coward and his pet goat should be held up to constant ridicule by a sane and just people.
