Café stuff: so what’s up with the episodes?

For anyone who misses the regular café episodes . . .

“Is anybody there?
“Does anybody care?”
(1776, the musical)

. . . I have good news and bad news.

The good news is that Horace, Winston, Tom and Zach are still gathering around the large round table in the café’s lounge each Wednesday evening. They’re doing well and have plenty of wisdom — or banter anyway — left to share.

The bad news is that their normally faithful scribe, yours truly, has been overwhelmingly busy of late, for both business and personal reasons. I just haven’t had time to get episodes up.

Finally, the promise: I will try very hard to start posting episodes again soon. So stay tuned.

I await their return. I’ve followed this story from the beginning. Someday, I hope to buy it in book format.

Chuck is still around. He just took a little vacation from all the presidential fiction to work more on his own fiction.

    His cat, Scout

Spring is always a busy season. The rest of us can be patient; and tend to our own gardens. The chipmunks have chewed a big hole in my garden shed. They have filled it with walnuts. The stray cat, who has come to live with us, has decimated the chipmunk population, so I will try to repair the shed. I think possums live in back of it. My backyard is a certified National Wildlife Federation wildlife habitat. There are times that I feel they have taken over. Still, it is peaceful back there. Take time, all of you, to smell the flowers.

    Thanks Scout.
Nice of you to let us know what Chuck’s up to.
Does it amuse you when he talks to birds?

Steve, I know the episode will worth waiting for. No worries, when you’re busy, hey…. we all understand what that’s like.
