Acknowledging honor (be it a little creepy) in an unlikely place

Apologizing for Iraq
By John Derbyshire

Some of the details of Derbyshire’s thinking are, shall we say, a little disturbing (for example, suggesting that part of the problem in Iraq has been a lack of ruthlessness in prosecuting the war). But at least he had the guts to say “I am sorry” for supporting the invasion.

Incidentally, in case you’re worried that this unlikely snippet of honor at NRO may herald the coming of the Apocalypse, relax.  As Derbyshire himself points out, the rest of the crew there continue to dutifully play their appointed role as Bush cheerleaders.
