Rush Limbaugh and Igor Panarin: rooting against America together.
What does American right wing radio personality Rush Limbaugh have in common with Russian academician Igor Panarin?
They’re both looking forward to the United States failing under Barack Obama.
You’ve already heard about Rush’s very publicly stated hope that Obama (and thus America with him) fails.
Panarin, on the other hand, is a Russian “scholar” who predicts that the United States will collapse next year, ultimately breaking up into six rump-states: in a stunning reversal of Seward’s Icebox, Alaska will be returned to Russia (he doesn’t specify whether they get Sarah Palin as part of the deal).
In fairness, Panarin appears to be even a little crazier than Rush (although much better looking).
