A Blossom From a Turd Still Smells Like a Turd
With Rove’s supposed release from the possibility of indictment in the treasonous Plame outing, he’s now free to put that black energy into running the GOP election machine.
Despite the public’s dislike of everything in the Bush administration and the wholesale failure of Bush’s War on Terrrer, as Adam Reilly of The Phoenix points out, the Democrats better get their butts in gear, because Rove is coming out swinging:
[Quoted from a speech he gave in NH]… Those who advocate cut-and-run, those who say, ‘Set an artificial timetable,’ those who say, ‘Get out now,’ have to be willing to explain to the American people why fifty million people living in freedom in Afghanistan and Iraq don’t deserve to live in freedom . . . [They] need to explain to our men and women in uniform why their hard work and their courage and their sacrifice doesn’t matter. And they need to explain to the families of the fallen why the loss of their loved ones could now have been depicted as being in vain.
If you’re part of the reality-based community, like The Phoenix,…
…you recognize that Saddam Hussein wasn’t behind 9/11, or that the Taliban is resurgent in Afghanistan, or that fighting terrorists in Iraq doesn’t mean we won’t have to fight them here…
Let’s hope a majority — enough to override any vote fraud/stealing — of the voting public recognizes it, too.
Otherwise, we’re in for another eight years of shit bouquet.

freedom in Afghanistan and Iraq - that’s the same kind of freedom now offered to America! Thus spoke the Ministry of Truth
High Court Backs Police No-Knock Searches:
The Supreme Court made it easier Thursday for police to barge into homes and seize evidence without knocking or waiting, a sign of the court’s new conservatism with Samuel Alito on board…
“It weakens, perhaps destroys, much of the practical value of the Constitution’s knock-and-announce protection,” Justice Stephen Breyer wrote for himself and Justices John Paul Stevens, David H. Souter and Ruth Bader Ginsburg

to repeat indiegreen:
“2 elections have been stolen and we’ve done nothing, so, just like kids who push the limits, the current regime will more than likely just take power permanently.”
