If I had half the guts of Elizabeth Edwards . . .

I’d be a brave man indeed.  And I’m not just talking about this — although I do like it a lot.

Chris Matthews is a blowhard. The man is so full of himself, he is like an overstuffed chair. He pretends he has something serious to say, then brings a piece of scum like Ann Coulter on his show. The woman is a bad joke. She has this rotten schtick that brings her money and notoriety, and the Media feeds on it, like vultures on carrion. Coulter will say ANYTHING to get attention. The more vulgar, shocking and vicious it is, the better. I personally feel the woman is so full of self-loathing that she has to project her inner venom on others. She looks anorexic. She is unable to deal in a healthy manner with her inner demons, so she dumps on her perceived “enemies.” Plus, it makes big bucks. Elizabeth Edwards is right to feel as she does about Coulter. But, giving the wretched creature attention just produces more BS. There are lots of people who love such crap. They cant wait to tune into it. If I hear Coulter is going to be on any show, I avoid it like bubonic plague. First of all, she has NOTHING of any worth or sense to say. NOTHING. Who wants to waste their time listening to slimeballs? Secondly, her entire persona is soooooo irritating, it’s like having a case of poison ivy. Who needs it? Thirdly, I am not going to join in the media circus that surrounds Coulter. It’s all about ratings and money. The MSM is so lacking in ethics these days that it is best to tune them out and not contribute to their stupidity and greed. Bless Mrs. Edwards. She loves her husband. Ann Coulter cannot appreciate real love and caring. Her innate narcissism precludes it.

I know how much you think of Dick Cheney, so I thought you might like to read the series in the Washington Post by Barton Gellman and Jo Becker. It’s only 50 pages or so. In talking about it in an article in Solon.com, Sydney Blumenthal has a couple of good lines: “Cheney has acted as the Stalin of the Bush adminstration….” And: “The Decider decides that Cheney will decide whate the Decider decides.”

I’m not sure what this has to do with Ann Coulter or Chris Matthews, I’ve never heard or seen either of them, (I don’t watch television,) but it must fit in somewhere because I almost never go off message.
