I agree that we should, as a country, try to see us from the eyes of the rest of the world. If we don’t, we will just keep trampling other sovereign nations’ rights and the civilians that live in those countries. This will cause continued hatred of Americans throughout the world. We have injured and killed hundreds of thousands of people in the world who were just innocent bystanders. Not to say that everyone we have maimed or killed was innocent, but when you do this to the innocent also, its apt to follow you into future situations. This tends to breed long term hatred.

Dr. Ron Paul has been ridiculed for saying the reason we (the USA) were attacked on 911 is because of our past foreign policy. CNN Wolf Blitzer and Huckabee took unfair advantage of Dr. Paul this weekend, by having Huckabee on Wolf’s show without Dr. Paul, and they showed a very short clip between Huckabee and Paul where they were debating this. By not giving Dr. Paul the chance to defend his position on Wolf’s show, it just shows how scarced they are of him.

Obama does make sense about the world view, and it just goes to show that the media is wrong about someone not being able to see and understand without prior experience on the world stage. Remember Bush didn’t have any experience in that realm either. Just one term as Governor in Texas was his qualification, and he really didn’t do that much when he was Governor except pull the border patrol off our borders then and get real cozy with Vincente Foxx, the ex President of Mexico. Obama definitely has more of an understanding because his father is from a country where they have recently fought for their rights, and he has been there and seen the reality of it.
