My Generation Chickenhawk revelation
Watching Max Blumenthal’s priceless video, Generation Chickenhawk, was something of a revelation to me: I finally understand how mature Republicans, the ones currently holding office in Washington, can be so pathetic. They used to be young republicans.
This has been all over the web for several days, but just in case anyone’s missed it, it’s a true must see.

Bush did diddly squat during Vietnam; and Daddy got him a cushy spot in the National Guard, wherein Georgie showed up when he wished. Cheney got deferments. The Chickenhawks on this video sound as mindless and vacuous as Bush. One was from Wabash College, a hot bed of conservative, little rich kids, who never went a day without a meal, a fancy car, or expensive clothes. They spout the Bush far-right gibberish and never attempt to push their minds beyond their comfort zone. Neoconservatism has become a cult, not a political movement. Logic and reason have no place in their dogma. These kids are easy pickins’. Cheney is the wolf and he feeds on sheeple.
